How do I get a CD out of CD player?

My wife decided to listen to NPR rather than listen to The Blues Brothers or better yet the engine, and now the CD will not eject. Also the face plate won't come off either, just the side with button comes out. I have not any experience with CD players as I have never owned a car with one. Thanks.

wiggle the faceplate off while holding down the buttom that pops one side out.

 

Then re-install the faceplate properly. that will likely cure the ejection problem

You can pop off the top if it's trying, but won't work right. May have some screws on the sides.

it's obviously junk...take it out, cut it open with tin snips and get your cd out...thrash the rest and buy new!

hey! it came out just like Bleach said it would, although I did have to pry more than I would have thought. I'd rather spend my money on some new rear tires as an unusual amount of rubber was left at the stoplight, giving the engine a much needed tuneup:D.
