motavated Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Man you cant really tell if the rad is good. Best to always get warranty I guess.... I guess the only way to test is if you close the holes and blow air throw it. But looks pretty weird... Always best to take it off and send it to get cleaned.. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Best would be a '75 or newer 620 rad and have re-cored. They did come with a 3 core option so for minimal cost add that. Anything else you have to pay for anyway, it isn't as good a fit and may need re-coring too. Quote Link to comment

motavated Posted January 2, 2010 Report Share Posted January 2, 2010 Aww man... I don't remember... They usually take of the top and insert rods and clean it out. They also tell you if its good or bad. If I remember correctly 15-30$. Last time I do remember them charging me 7 dollars to tell me the rad I bought was bad and they welded it back up some.
