elmerfudpucker Posted December 14, 2009 Author Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 I always thoght the Z20 series only had 4. not to metion I looked at KC thet had a "JDM Z20" the head had 20 without the "z" on the little spot, didnt looked stamped and the rest of the Z motors I seen had Z20, Z22 ect and was stamped. datsunaholic Posted December 14, 2009 Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 I've never seen a JDM Z20 (most naps-Z JDM stuff was Z18). US-spec ones could be found either way, as the 1980 Z20 non-california was 4-plug and the 80 CAli and everything '81+ was 8 plug. Quote Link to comment
Drahzzel Posted December 19, 2009 Report Share Posted December 19, 2009 No, even the USDM Z20E had 8 plugs. I have a 1980 200SX that has a Z20E dual plug motor. They were mostly for California models, but became a standard for emissions a year or so later for this motor. Quote Link to comment
