RustyRat4x4
Would anyone out there happen to have a spare remote igniter dizzy from a 76-78 620 L20b.. single-points still OK for now, but electronic ign better (know that much) Looking for the remote igniter in particular because of the ease of finding the Chevy ignition modules everywhere.. Thanks  Edited December 10, 2009 by RustyRat4x4 more years available for the part than first known Link to comment

banzai510(hainz)
Would anyone out there happen to have a spare remote igniter dizzy from a 76-78 620 L20b.? why you want one of these? a matchbox/w timming plate/mount would be a ezer fit. but those dizzys listed are and should be cheaper as poepl dont really want them and use the GM modle hook up as Pac Coast Datsun did. I have done a L20 single point conversion using a Pertronix the ring above the point lobe has to be machined off. Where in washington you live? Im in Covington. I have a dizzy with Pertronix ready to go I install for you if you live close. Edited December 10, 2009 by banzai510(hainz) Link to comment
datzenmike
Only California had the remote igniter box back in '76. All L20Bs had them in '78 and were switched to matchbox for '79 and on. Matchbox type are less bother to install. Link to comment
