The 210 (B310) is close to, but not the same as, the 1200 (B110). You may be able to use some of the performance parts from them since there are more options than the 210s have. I would expect that a 210 would respond to the same things that any other car would - stiffer springs or coilovers, larger sway bars, and wider low profile tires. I had an '80 210 so I know how they drive:D. It was totally stock with skinny tires and wasted struts. I remember wishing it had better brakes too. Since Datsuns use a bolt-on steering arm and ball joint, many of the parts can be interchanged. You may be able to do a 280ZX strut swap. By using the 210 strut top and clipping the ZX spring, you would end up with bigger brakes and much stiffer springs for cheap. Be aware that the 280ZX needs a minimum 14" wheel to clear the caliper.
