Moisabamf Posted October 16, 2009 Report Share Posted October 16, 2009 (edited) well this weekend we got to work on my dads 69 project. i was hard at work cleaning his swastika rims(280ZX turbo)while he tackled wiring gremlins! i used no sandpaper for the rims, and if anyone needs to clean up those aluminium rims, i have a great method that works marvelously! all you need is turtle wax rubbing compound AND polishing compound, various cotton buffing wheels(for different areas of the rims, and you need to use different ones for both compounds) a drill, and some elbow grease! just see the before and afters to compare! Before! during... After! my old slot mags(for sale 14x6) some centerlines i cleaned up(for sale 14x6) Before during no after yet.... Paint! battery in trunk a shot of the dash dude i got drunk last night and totally hurled! need more power!!1!! thats all folks! next pic set will be of the carpeting+ the installation of seats!
