They take care of me, and are very knowledgable. Most parts stores around our area suck. I know it's a bit more of a trek for you, but I choose to support the people who support our hobby! If they dont have it, they can get it. As for a soldering iron, just snag one from Radio Shak and go from there. With any connection, you lose signal (power, ground or signal, I mean) when you use a crimp connection rather than solder. In many cases, it's not enough to notice... But as long as you're doing it, you might as well do it right! Quote Link to comment
