hessianben
It's from an '84 720. I had to cut it down about 5 inches in the middle and re-glass it. and I had to shorten the ends about 2 inches. I'll post a thread about it soon. before: (you can see it's hitting the tires here. and it's wider than the bumper.) cut: Cut: Patch, fill, sand, sand, paint... Done: Quote Link to comment

Likewise Mark! I was super stoked to get to see your infamous creation in person!! The air dam I bought new from a guy in Or i think... member on here. It had printed on it: "84 Datsun" I'm assuming it was for a 720? I promptly mangled those letters when I cut it up!:D Quote Link to comment

Rubberman
Sorry to jump in on your thread Fatt, but Hess, where did you get those rims? I see they say nismo on them. Did you have to do any modifications to get them to mount? Those rims are badass. Quote Link to comment
FATT STRIPES
those wheels are the NISMO accessory wheels made by Ray's offered for the D22, way over priced when they first came out and not many people bought them. the good news is nissan forced shipped every dealer at least one set so if any dealer still has a set they usaully let them go fairly cheap Quote Link to comment

They were made by Ray's Engineering for Nissan- they tried to market them for off road xterras and frontiers, but not many sold.... as a result, you can sometimes find a set at a dealership (sometimes they just want them gone!) they originally sold for $415/wheel, but I got the set for under $400!!:fu: I am running spacers; 1" up front and 1.5" in back to keep from rubbing... but that could also be from the gigantic tires!
