MicroMachinery
A buddy of mine busted the u-joint on his 74 620(2wd), it broke the saddles and took out the central carrier bearing. What I need is the driveline from the transmission to the rear diff, including the part that bolts to the rear diff, as that is what sheared off. Thank you. Link to comment
datzenmike
It would appear that any 72.5-'79 620 standard cab, short wheelbase rear drive shaft should fit. So anything but a Long Box or King Cab. I would confirm the length before sending. Link to comment
yello620
I have a complete driveline from a 75 620, just removed from truck today. Carrier bearing is bad though. Reasonably local to you too. Cheap.:D Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Cool man, my buddy's truck is outta commission until I find one. How much for it? Link to comment
datzenmike
The carrier bearing seldom goes 'bad'. Usually it's the rubber dough-nut ring that rots away and allows the drive shaft to wobble around and vibrate. Link to comment
MicroMachinery
That sounds good. When's a good time that I can get ahold of you? My buddy actually works in Newberg, so maybe he could come by and pick it up himself. Thanks man. Link to comment
