Windshield wiper Linkage?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if there are any other cars I can pull this off of or something

My pair is to long?

Whenever I turn them on the linkage binds against the car and gets stuck

I looked at it and noticed the arm and the rotational part are not in sync at all, thus it was to long and is probably not the correct linkage for some reason.

So yeah any other ideas would be great!

thanks

Finish filling out your profile so we know what you are driving (510, 610 Z car etc.) a location helps too. Someone that has what you need is more likely to reply if nearby.

Is the wiper arm traveling too far off the glass onto the body or the actual linkage is rubbing under the cowl? The arms are splined and come off. With the wiper set in the off (parked) position place the arms back on in the correct lowered position.

The first 3 pictures are the actual linkage itself.

After looking at this diagram from dimequarterly

http://dimequarterly.tierranet.com/tech/wiper_rebuild.jpg

I was beginning to think this isn't the same linkage thus the rubbing issues shown on picture 4 the red is what should be connected and the yellow circle is how far the red can rotate as you can see its short

As always any feedback would be much appreciated its about to rain soon
