(on 510 stock struts) i was wondering if it was hard to shorten the strut and what shock should i use i know alot of people use MR2 shock. any other shocks and should i shorten it or not. i know if i slam the car on stock stuff its going to bottom out. thanks Edited September 10, 2009 by SpooF Quote Link to comment
Cuts metal like mad Posted September 10, 2009 Report Share Posted September 10, 2009 depend on how much you want to lower. If you can't weld, or know someone who car, its probably not going to be cheap. The rabbit inserts have also been popular, and they are about the shortest insert you can get. If your struts are still stock, you can also have a machine shop turn down the stock 'piston' and have it rethreaded, dump in some good shock oil and have a better ride than with GAS inserts.
