nis720
Last night I installed my new electric fan controller. Painless wiring (pricey :( ) My old one was adjustable but it was starting to act funny. Sunday while on my way to Fullerton it was buzzing and not allowing the fan to come one completely. I also cleaned up some of the wiring and rerouted some of them Quote Link to comment

Rubberman
I've been checking in on one of those. Where did you get that one? And how much was it? I think the cheapest one I found was about $60 from advance auto. Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
I've used 3 of the ones they sell at Checker Auto, I wanna say the brand is Haynes?? They are the kind with the temp probe, and activate the fan on/off by itself when it reaches a certain temp. All 3 have worked perfectly. One has been on my Frontier for over a year, and probably at least 30k miles. Plus you can adjust the temp it cycles at, and there's an extra "activate" wire......mine is hooked to the a/c compressor so it always comes on when the a/c is running. Quote Link to comment
RatRod25
I got mine my local performance shop for i think around 40?? But its the prob type... I wish i would have gotten the temp switch one tho.. Quote Link to comment
SHADY280
my painless was 30 bux, but i got just the sender as i already had a relay. it used to be wired to the key, but it was uber annoying in colder temps as i have dual 12" 2500 cfm fans. i got mine at the local parts place, you can also get them at summit racing for 21 i think?
