Beau M
Hey guys Soon I will be needing to build motor mounts for my 302 swap into my 280z. I know a guy named Alsil used to make them, but no longer does and I cannot find the plans for it. I have found the plans that Z8 Driver posted over on HBZ, they can be seen here: http://www.lainefamily.com/240Z_V8_Conversion-files/240Z_Conversion_Drawings.pdf I don't trust my fabrication skills to build such an important part. So.... Do any of you think you could make it, and if so how much would it cost me? Also, if not, do you know anyone in the Seattle area that can make it for a reasonable price? It's not an overly complicated part, but my skills just are not there yet. Here are Z8's pictures of his. http://www.lainefamily.com/240Z_V8_Conversion-files/240Z_Conversion_Mounting_The_Engine_and_Transmission.htm Quote Link to comment

72240z
The jtr is all gm. I imagine the 302 is going to be pretty different. Did you post asking on hbz? That's their bag if no one could help I'd be surprised. Edited August 19, 2009 by 72240z Quote Link to comment
Jesse C.
Ah, did not really notice the 302 part, maybe I should slow down a bit while reading at work! LOL! But then again, Chevy did make a 302! Maybe a TransDapt crossmember would be a good start for fabbing it up. Quote Link to comment
