Get the Hooker header that is for our trucks, Move the firewall back about 6". Hmm sure there more but cant think of it right now. 327 engine Quote Link to comment

Tunnel was moved up about 3", The steering column stayed where it was at. The whole fire wall on my was moved back. Quote Link to comment

jesusno2 Posted September 21, 2007 Report Share Posted September 21, 2007 don't know about datsun stuff but i've done a few small block ford conversions in 1st gen toyotas they fit much better than the chevy engines all we ever had to do was massage the frt core support for a bigger radiator. now days with aluminum radiators being less expensive and more abundant it can probabbly be done without modifying the core support.
