fisch
Hey y'all. I am looking at a L320 with a V6 mustang stuffed inside. It has the original Datsun heater, but it is not in the car. I have no idea how to hook up a heater. With the engine swap, would this be an issue? And can anyone tell me where a heater sits inside the cab of a 320? It is cold here in MA more often than not, and a heater would be a must! Scott Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
Well, the original heater was in the middle, under the dash above the tranny tunnel. The only problem I see is the tranny tunnel has probably been enlarged and now the heater won't fit... Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
DatStang is such a cool idea! You could use an aftermarket ceramic (electric) element, and mount the heater anywhere... But why a V6? The V8 is no wider, only weighs a touch more, and has so much more power. The 3.8 V6 is pretty heavy. Of course if you already have the V6, that's an awesome reason to use it. fisch
THanks guys, but I decided to jump on a 1971 521 that was local! Has factory ac though, but to my knowledge hasn't been used in eons and pump is disconnected. Scott Quote Link to comment
