ggzilla
I hear there is a Video that's better than either, for L-series engine. Maybe somebody can remember where to get it. Any books is good for the specifications but most are light on the how-to. Quote Link to comment

When I get to the video point I am all over it, again :D Quote Link to comment
zed
I'm busy re-building my L18 motor right now. I use the Haynes book and downloaded the 620 manual off the 'net (took days on dialup). And Hainz sent me his video - best help of all. A warning - the side seals in no. 5 main bearing cap are a b*tch! Use plenty of RTV sealant on the cap. Edited May 4, 2009 by zed Quote Link to comment

I couldn't get them in at all... I filled the entire cavity with RTV. we'll see if it holds. I did a good job of stuffing it in so i should be fine. Quote Link to comment
