datzenmike Posted April 15, 2009 Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 An FS5W63 from a '77-'79 200sx or '78-'79 HLA10 (5spd option) should have the right L fitment and length to swap into the PL510. The rear tranny mount will need modifying. Alternatively any FS5W71B from a '77-79 630 truck, '77-'83 280z/zx (non turbo) will fit the motor but you will need to shorten the driveshaft and mod the tranny mount and shifter hole. They come in a variety of gear set ratios and over drives. Some are too tall for good use on an L16. Link to comment
