ggzilla
Perhaps they sold it without the E choke. If it has a round area on the side, that's where the e-choke bolts on. You can use a Datsun e-choke or a Ford e-choke, they are standard size (about $26 new). DGEV is great. Just takes 12V, I connected mine to the 12V side of the coil ballast resistor block. No messing with manual choke, it just starts up perfect and runs good. Here's a pic of DGEV, showing e-choke bolted on (right side of pic) Edited April 1, 2009 by ggzilla Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Tim or Eric You said you had a manual choke car????????? if your car is a 72 or older there is a 12v wire by the wiper motor area that used for the choke. Otherwise I have seen a GGZilla stated from the ballast. Quote Link to comment
