Mark_Z28
Its going to be a heck of a lot easier to do than a Datsun, lol. Might as well put a true double roller chain innthere, or if you feel like it, a gear drive. Quote Link to comment
Wharf Rat
Yes it is. I have not done one in a long time. Cost me 39 bucks for a double roller and gaskets. Still cheap enough, that was nice:) Quote Link to comment

Mark_Z28
I have actually bought a double roller Cloyes chain for $18 before, probably wasnt true roller though. Did its job though. Chevie V8's are so cheap and easy to work on its ridiculous. Quote Link to comment
Bandit240
Man, that makes me miss my old truck. I had a 71 Cheyenne with the 400 Big Block. It was a beast. Coolest thing was it ran on LPG and gas. You can see it rusting down in this pic. It was a big green monster. Had the motor out for a rebuild. Had factory AC and was cold as hell. Retirement. The LPG tanks, one on each side. 8 400, damn thing could drink some gas. I miss that old truck. Quote Link to comment
