jovial_cynic
*** NEVERMIND. I'm all set. *** I don't feel like rethreading all the holes in the TIMING cover that I've got, so I'm looking for another one in better condition. Looking for fairly inexpensive, since I can just run to the local pick-a-part and grab one for under $20. If you're parting out an L20b, I'll be glad to take the timing cover off your hands. izzo
re-threading? I thought the threads were in the head and the bolt just passed thru the valve cover?? Link to comment
jovial_cynic
I meant timing cover, not valve cover. Corrected in the OP. Anyhow, the water pump has two bolts that thread into the timing cover. Both of the holes on my timing cover are shot. One is actually broken out into the water chamber area. Link to comment

jovial_cynic
Well, nevermind. I got the problem fixed. But I've got some other problem now. In any event, no need for a timing cover anymore. Link to comment
