angliagt
I drove over to the Oroville,California area to look at a car to replace the Wife's 2002 Mazda Protege. As I headed East, there was snow (& ice).I hit a guardrail with the right side of the car (already damaged),felt OK,so I kept driving. When I was back in civilization,I checked for damage.I didn't do hardly anything! Anyway,I went to Redding,CA,down to Corning, where I spotted a 610 wagon (accross the street from the Ford dealer.I didn't talk to the owner, but it looks like it's been sitting for awhile. I looked at a car near Oroville,California,& on the way back home, I noticed a couple of 620s in people's yards. If anyone's interested,I could check on these trucks,as we're heading back on Saturday to buy a car for my Wife. - Doug Edited March 26, 2009 by angliagt misspelling Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Road trip sounds like fun. But snow & ice does not. Do you have to cross mountains to get from the Coast to Oroville? Quote Link to comment
haubstr
If anyone wants anything looked at in this area let me know... I'm already here... Anywhere between Yuba City and Red Bluff I'm at all the time... Quote Link to comment
angliagt
There's definatly mountains between the coast & Redding. It was 65+ degrees in Oroville. - Doug Quote Link to comment
purple
Sorry I missed your call when you came thru here. I was still at work. It's supposed to be good weather this Sat so you won't get snow this time. Corning Ford is a good place to buy, They always seem to have a lower price for the same or better cars as here in Redding. Red Bluff Ford is a must avoid. Too many problems with dealings for many I know. Quote Link to comment
angliagt
Haubster, Where's a good place to eat breakfast in Marysville/Yuba City?I prefer the "neighborhood" places over the chain ones. We'll be there Saturday. Eric,I ended up not having a lot of time,& I had to drop off some Cortina parts to a guy in Anderson. I did find a car near Oroville,& we're going down to pick it up on Saturday. I also bought a car trailer,so maybe I can finally get around to picking it up. - Doug Quote Link to comment
