    GOONS check in

Here is pic of mine from last weekend. Just been driving i.
  11. I just got my block from the machine shop, did a very nice job with boring to 87mm, and decked. Now I need to get the crank, rods, pistons and rings all balance.
  12. I just using the second one for my return fuel line.
  13. Been slow going on the project. Here is an update Got the fuel rail and injectors set up. Block will be in this week.
  14. I have been checking Julians build on the 510 Relm, project whitebird. he is designing his own system, interesting to see how he is doing it.
  15. Interesting topic. I like the way your write skib. Sound like a professor. I am still in the process of building my LZ 2.2 turbo. you can see my build thread boosted goon. I was orginally going to blow through using a single side draft dellorto, the carb is ready to bolt on. I had it turbo prepped and emulsion tubes. I was going to buy a turbo top hat like the VW guys use. They have a quite a few setups. check out CB Performance or search VW blow through. I got talked out of it saying it was to danergous but, still thinking about trying it once my engine is built. I have the FI setup but the SDS system is going to cost some bucks and a little more working putting it in, but probably would have better performance in the long run.
  16. Got a few more things together. 4 Injectors 440#, new O rings gathered up the mounting hardware, fuel rail, and fittings. Next step fab up the fuel rail for the injectors and return fuel rail. I've been talking with Paul about getting some help from him on the fuel rail. Here a pic of all the parts. Rusch Motorsports LLC 12901 SE Ten Eyck Rd. Sandy OR 97055
  17. The guy in NY started making them and would buy the carbs from peirce and modify them. I guess he cant keep up and now Peirce manifold is selling them.
  18. Check these bad boyz out. Just got them in and sending them right out to the machine shop so,they can finish the block. Look how much they moved the 1st ring down and gave the piston a nice crown for boost. The deep dish I should end up with about 9to1 CR for good low end torque. I got total seal rings, new wrist pins, and spiral lock retainers.
  19. Steven at peirce manifold is a decent guy, he has helped me out inthe past with weber carbs. The kit price is about what I paid for mine.
  20. Here is pic of my tray still need the ecu but at least I have a spot for it.
  21. I remembered a couple things. The fuel inlet and the needle seat. I think he put in a larger idle jet and the main jets. You could talk to Peirce manifold he was selling them to the guy in new york. http://s555.photobucket.com/albums/jj449/imtb/video%20510/?action=view&current=MPEG0062.mp4
  22. They Mikuni HSR flat slide carbs. I got them from the guy in New York and it took 5 months to get them I think he modifies the needle seat for 3#'s, becasue motorcycles are gravity fed. Not sure what else he does. You can read on his website. The carbs bolted right up to an SU intake and had to make the inner connecting rod. Easy to tune work really good. I was thinking about trying them on the lynx intake but going FIT, so just going to leave them as is and drive it till my engine is built. There is alot of these on ebay but would need to be modified. Here is a few more pics. I had a thread started when I got them about one year ago.
