I find the Fiero very uncomfortable at 6'2. It's a good bit smaller than a B210. And it really is a pain in the ass to work on! I've seen so many rusted out up here. Cross members, control arms, and all the nuts and bolts that aren't stainless rotted away.

Fucking Fieros Worked on a basket case all summer. When it came down to timing the engine I pretty much bailed. It's an act just to get it to TDC.

Updates! Still my daily driver. Insurance paid out 612$ for the deer accident. Haven't even cashed it yet. MPG after carb rebuild- 33 33 33 38 (took a short trip up the interstate) 33 33 Now I've got a problem. Once the engine is warmed up it has an intermittent fuel or spark issue. Not sure which yet but I think it's carb related. When shifting into 2nd or 3rd, at low rpm, it has a bad hiccup before taking off. Then cruising in 3rd at 2k rpm or so it sputters and doesn't run right till I put my foot in it. It's gotten worse over the last week. It will die at a stop now. I've checked the float bowl and sprayed through the jets. It's become rather frustrating.any thoughts?

I'm happy with my GX. No other datsuns around here for me. I need a nicer bigger car and there are no Maximas around here that I like. I've always wanted a turbo brick.

Going to look at another 242 tomorrow. This time with less miles and in better shape. Oh, and cheaper!

No go on the 242. Was a real p.o.s. Guy had a bad attitude and was drunk. Told me he needed cash to get his cdl back. Assuming he lost it after a couple duis. No thank you! He did call me later and apologize though...

Fuckin temp services..... mid 90's Camaros Power of a Cutlass Ciera with less than half the room. Interior full of Pinto quality oversized plastics. Headgaskets don't stand a chance! 9th generation Ford f150 E100 1987~ As a fan of the 302 engine I am ashamed of the late 80's Ford trucks/vans. Way underpowered and absolute shit fuel economy. The engine is blanketed with vacuum lines and the double throttle body assembly is complete garbage! Cardboard interiors and plastics all rot in the sun. Power windows, electrical switches, all garbage! And if you have dual tanks, the electronic valve will eventually fail/leak and is a pita combined with frame mounted electric pumps which require these fuckers so inappropriately named "ford quick connects". Seriously, it's a learned art. I have at least 3 sets. Honda fucking Civic (1990's) Timing belts, monopolized overpriced parts (even fluids), bodies are very easily damaged, and I absolutely hate the way they drive!

I just don't trust electronics in my vehicles. But....

Bigger, more comfortable... American bullshit it is. The Prius will always lose because my car has something the Prius has in negative amounts. Cool Factor. It's way more "vehicle" than a Prius. But maybe not as great of a "people carrier" You trolling bastard! One of my favorite complaints from Prius drivers is how they get blown around in a wind storm :frantics: I live in the mountains! No problems keeping up in 2nd and 3rd gears at 5k rpm :fu: On the top of the list of reasons why my B210 is a better car is simply that it is a Datsun! Really though, thanks for the update. 70$ and lasted 2 years. Not bad! I currently have a working loaner jack and a 4th broken one. Just use a scissor jack for the bee :thumbup:

1994- Ford Mustangs Dislike the looks as well as the engineering. No matter what you do to them they are still tacky. Especially the ass, and it's all about the ass. The Horrible Prius It honestly makes me rage. If I see you driving one of these shit boxes I am automatically on the offensive. Let's put it in perspective. My 1978 Datsun B210GX gets the same highway mileage. More money will be spent on a Prius than has been spent over almost 40 years of maintenance on my car which has been the workhorse for several families. The Prius is the least eco friendly car ever produced and is personally responsible for substantial environmental damage. And worst of all, it is absolutely hideous! Seriously.... Then even started to give them some nicer body lines before promptly cross breeding it with a fucking Tran-Am whose mother was raped by an Edsel I happen to live in a college town full of ridiculously stupid bitches driving Priusi covered in "earth friendly" stickers. The world would be a better place without them. (both the cars and college tards) The Dodge Neon Even as a young child I hated these cars. How the hell did they keep making these for a decade I called it the ugliest car ever when I was still in elementary school (before the Aztek was made, I think) The headlights had a lot to do with it. And the 8" tire/fender gap... stock. If the Neon was a woman it would be this one. Sure, you could get some good miles out of her and she'd get the job done. But ugly, slow, and probably doesn't smell too great. (ever been in a Neon? maybe it's a mix of plastics and glues. I don't know. Think nursing home, the lower class ones.) And yeah, those glasses. Pontiac Aztek, nuff said. The Majority of Mercedes Benz made after 1985. Dependability, drive-ability, and looks all went downhill. And what bugs me most; 2 feet of plastic trim.
