yello620 Posted July 10, 2007 Report Share Posted July 10, 2007 Looking at bellhousing bolt patterns. I am curious about the VG, VQ and the rwd SR. I think that i remember the SR and VG to be the same? Am i wrong? How about the VQ, does it match anything older. So this is not my project, but was asked for advise. 89 pathfinder with VG30 throttle body motor/ and 5 speed. Motor is going bad. Can a VQ 3.5 bolt to the existing tranny. Run Megasuirt to control it. My advise until i know about the bellhousings was to install a VG 3.3 and a xterra supercharger. Have also been told that VQ heads will bolt onto a VG block.
