datzenmike Posted Thursday at 02:09 AM Report Share Posted Thursday at 02:09 AM Just ignore the coil pictured and get an EI coil from anything after '77. You want 0.75 to 1.0 ohms primary resistance. This will give you the added high(er) voltage spark. Tach, any tach, connects to the coil negative terminal. Join the ignition wire normally connected to the ballast and the start wire normally connected to the coil positive together as the 12v source. 1 Quote Link to comment
