Nissan Part Number 32707-AA000 "PLUG ASSY-SPEED". Installation? 280ZX 5-Speed pinion Plug

Anyone know how to install the 280ZX 5 speed pinion plug? Do I need to drain the transmission oil?

That's a plug for an '96-'2004 R50 Pathfinder FS5W71C transmission. I suppose that would work in the FS5W71B transmission in the non turbo 280zx if you turn it upside down so the screw is at the top. Basically it's a speedometer delete plug. Is this what you are doing??????

 

Oil is likely to spill so drain it. Good time to change it if you don't know when it was changed last or if not changed in the last 30k miles.
