NewDirection
Hello again everyone, My '78 B210 does not warm up beyond the second line at ambient temps up to about 10 degrees Celsius. I haven't driven it at higher temps yet. At temps closer to 0 it barely moves beyond the first line unless I'm on the highway. Any ideas how to diagnose this before thorwing parts at it? I'd like to change the thermostat, as I have an extra one. I can follow the Haynes manual instructions but does anyone have any tips for doing this job? Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Just change the thermostat. 180F should do it. Spend money on it, don't get a $1.99 WallMart special. The old one is stuck open. Quote Link to comment
NewDirection
For posterity, wanted to note that this issue completely resolved after thermostat was changed! 1 Quote Link to comment
