Hi Ya'll.I have a old oem Nissan fuel pump 17020-17020-10W00 That quit working long ago.I did put a new little filter in it and also replaced all the rubber fuel lines and clamps and the big fuel filter in front of the fuel pump and it would not start. So I took the little fuel filter out and put the other back in and saved the new fuel filter. So I did put a new oem fuel pump on it and it worked.I also have a brand new oem Nissan fuel pump still in the box with a few new little oem fuel filters and one extra big  after market filter.I was wondering on what is needed to rebuild the old one.I did try new Nissan gaskets also.Long time ago,I thought the fuel pump relay was bad,put a new one on it and it didn't start,it was the bad fuel pump.I did take the relay back and got my money back.I did put a new magnet in there..Can these oem Nissan fuel pumps  be rebuilt. It doesn't show any replaceable parts for sale on the Nissan site. The new one you see is what is on there now.I have put a new big fuel filter on it about 2 years ago,it got clogged up and quit running and I put another on it about 6 months ago with a small one..I will replace the filter again soon.I believe the oem Nissan fuel pumps are no longer available.Gas makes a mess.I do open up my fuel door and spray clorox in there to get the gas off.Gas produces black smut.
