couple of 520 vs 521 questions

1. Is the front suspension on a 520 the same as a 521?

 

2. is the frame (front half) the same so other than mounts and L-series will drop in?

 

3. Is the rear end the same?

 

There is one I may get and sit on but I want to know if the L-series/5spd swap is as easy as in a 521...

2. is actually no. The frame on the front of the 520 is shorter than that of the 521. Quite a bit shorter.

3. The axle is the same, gears are different. Lower gears in the 520 axle.

My 520 is different than any other 520 or 521. :thumbsup:

3. No, mine is missing the leaf springs. :rollseyes:
