datzenmike Posted May 5, 2022 Report Share Posted May 5, 2022 Rust is from the cast iron block, the rad is copper and brass. Try laying it face down with rad cap on and fiil with CLR and leave over night. It dissolves lime scale and rust won't hurt copper and brass. Used on my rad, sat for 3 days before I could get back to it. That was several years ago. Quote Link to comment
