Green Bastard
This is open to all Datsuns now... On June 16, NWAA www.nwautosports.org ,a local auto-x, drag, drift, club is offering DatsunsNW members a chance to run on their autocross course. Runs are unlimited at $3 a pop. There will be instructors on hand as well as loaner helmets for those new to the sport. This is a great chance to get acquainted with your car, and find its full potential in a safe controlled environment. This will be a club event with a kick ass cruise on the by-ways over the coast range. Great scenery, and beautiful curvy roads await you and your Datsun. The trip should take 90-120 minutes. Even if you don't plan on autocrossing, the cruise will be worth the price of the free admission. Just come and hang out and lunch with your fellow club members at the beach. So eat a breakfast then meet up with DatsunsNW at 8:30 in Banks Oregon At the shopping center. We will then take off over the mountains to Naselle WA, where we will autocross with NWAA. We will take care of lunch once we get to the track. Space is limited for this event due to time and space constraints. Please RSVP to me if you are interested in joining us. Only the first 25 cars get to auto-x. This is reserved for club members first. We want to fill that course with Datsuns! Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you there! Quote Link to comment

Green Bastard
Tons of white knuckle driving through the twisties on the way to the autocross site. 25MPH corners one after another after another, banked and some were even concrete! Everyone made it in one piece, many slides, but only one tire off the pavement! The rain slowed our roll a few times, but for the most part it was dry pavement. It was a good day.
