NorCalDime
Anyone done this? I like the twistys, and i have been looking into SCCA stuff, and well i like to drift so cornering g's and nice long sidways slides slosh that oil all over. Has anyone baffled their pan? I was gonna look into doing it, thinking it cant be that hard, just weld in some walls and doors and the like. Anyone have a write up on it? or better yet experience and pics? Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
If your running a stock pan there should never be a need for this. Not sure what you have, but unless it's a hammerhead style pan you shouldn't have a problem with pickup. I even fabbed myself up a hammerhead pan and didn't see any issues with pressure around corners, but I had around 6 quarts in it :-) Making baffles is relatively easy, you can use door hinges and weld then to the upper section, along with making a box in the center for them to swing into. It's a lot of work, so it'd be a waste unless you are having pressure issues though. Quote Link to comment
