Jelmer C31
The H190 of my Laurel has a lot of play in it and it hauwls quite a bit. Would new bearings and adjusting the gears solve this or are the R&P worn out when there is a lot of play? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
If the old bearings are worn out, maybe, but setting the gear lash requires special tools and skills. It's a complicated intricate operation. Usually cheaper to just swap in a used one. (I realize this may not be an option) Quote Link to comment
Jelmer C31
I know how to set up R&P's as I did it before in my Patrol. I think I just pull it apart and see how worn it is. Quote Link to comment
