D.R.F.15 Posted September 10, 2016 Report Share Posted September 10, 2016 yeah. the kicker was that the '74 didn't have a running motor (the '79 has an L20), and being my first build, I had to pull strings with my dad ://. still I think I came out okay. when you sell things like this, you're more than likely already going to lose a lot of money anyway haha. datzenmike Posted September 11, 2016 Report Share Posted September 11, 2016 Swap the L20B into the '74 and keep the '79 for parts. You now have a vehicle free of smog checks and you can (within reason) mod the engine all you want. The '79 will always need to have all it's smog equipment on and working and engine swapping is very limited. Quote Link to comment
