Reverse Lights

I know the title says Reverse lights, but its due to the transmission the post is in here :D

 

 

Truck came stock with a 4-5 speed. Normal shifting (first is up and to the left)

 

The transmission was replace with a dogleg. So now when im in fifth gear my reverse lights are on...

 

Anyone know where the reverse light switch is on the truck?

 

after i see where its at and how its mounted I will figure out how to put it in the correct spot.

you could always get a helper... turn the truck to "run" without starting it, put it in 5th so the lights come on and start pulling a wire fron each switch until the lights go out... but I would suspect that there is probably a switch on there thats not hooked up at all and they plugged into the 5th gear switch... OR the reverse and 5th are just swapped, depends on what switches the original trans had, they didn't all have a 5th gear switch.
