Well a little over a year ago I moved from Seattle area to Idaho and had to leave "Paco" in the area as I didnt have a driver or room to take him with us. Well he has been sitting up there patiently waiting for me to come up and get him. Once I can get him I have some work planned out for him...... Here are a few pics of "PACO"

Nice! Glad to hear that you can get Paco back... I spent two months not being able to work on my truck and I started going nuts, so I can't imagine not being able to do anything for a year. Looks like our paintjobs are sorta similar... flat black with red stripes. I like the blacked out grille/headlight surrounds... very slick.

What're your plans with it now that it's back? And where are the engine bay/interior shots?

well i have not yet gotten the truck back yet i am planning on leaving in the morning and driving up there and throwing him on the trailer and bombing it home. I would drive it but the tags are expired. I once drove this truck from San Deigo to Canada no problems but it was a slow boring drive. I-5 sucks.

As for my plans I am not quite sure. I am stuck between SR. or layin frame on bags....

well paco is home safe and we will just say I have my work cut out for me. The paint is toast, more rust. Doors handles on the outside dont work. All the weather stripping is gone. windsheild is slightly cracked. Cant figure out the alternator problem. But it is all worth it. Hopfully soon I will be starting to hack it up and get it ready to lay out.....

Well it took alot of reading up to do but i finally figured out why the battery wouldnt stay charged. First it was the battery, so i got a new one. Then it went dead so i was thinking alternator. So I pulled the bastard out and the whole bottom of the casing was melted  So i went and got a new one. Got it home and found out that it wasnt the same. Took it back and looked at the old one. Come to find out the previous owner had done a GM one wire conversion. Do now i have a brand new chevy 350 alternator there and the battery stays charged. No more voltage regulator either... the GM alternator is internally regulated

as for the steering wheel i have no idea i found it in a junk yard. the tail lights were from vato zone but are gone now. I am going to work on paco tomorrow i will snap some more pics. But i will warn you he is not looking so hot now. The peoples house that i left him at in washington decided to use him for paint ball practice. and then left them on there and it ruined my $30 paint job and now he looks sad.

not for long though
