Crazykidd9
Hey guys, this is just for anybody that is looking for some information on the measurements or how the 720 radio is wired, without having to go through the trouble of taking the thing out just yet. This is for a 1984, I dont know if the radio is the same in all 720s. Enjoy! https://flic.kr/p/DdFGu4 https://flic.kr/p/Ddmkw1 https://flic.kr/p/Eb5wxM 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Great post! I am guessing that is an AM/FM. Does it have a casset? Quote Link to comment
Crazykidd9
Yes its a FM/AM! Sadly, no it doesn't have the casset and thats why im looking to change it so I can play music from my phone. If anyone has any idea of a type of stereo that fits into the factory unit with little to no modification please let me know! 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
I use Kenwood single din with the sleeve. Have do a little filing to make fit but clean when used with the Kenwood face surround. Might be interested in purchasing your stock radio. Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
My daily driver is a 1986 720 king cab. I have a 1985 King cab ST I bought for the ST wheels. and I have my 1966 520 Project truck. I would like to get a 1983 bed for my 86 as it has a lot of rust bubbling up all over. I bought the 86 for $900 when I was working and living in Northern Nevada. The truck came out of Salt Lake City Utah so it had a long life of salted winter roads. I picked up the 85 ST in Kingman AZ for $200 without a title. It had not run for over 20 years. I got it running and pulled the tank and had it hot tanked. I need to get it put together and bleed the breaks and replace the clutch slave and master. I will get it titled and it will go to a good friend in Bullhead City AZ for a daily driver. My 66 520 I purchase in North Phoenix for $ 300 dollars and have been working on it for over 7 years now. Lot of mods and changes done to it. Quote Link to comment
