FasterHorses
I have an 81 2wd king cab. It's been in the family since new so despite the rusty and dent issues, I still harbour some sentimental attachment. ..... I recently decided.to dismantle the truck and find good homes for the parts. While I was underneath the truck un bolting the body, I discovered the frame to be in really nice condition and relatively basic. So.... I got thinking about keeping the chassis for a.project.... it's a nice simple, free of clutter chassis and looks like it could be a handy place to start. maybe a rod.or to put a 720 body back on one day. these trucks are.starting to look more appealing to me these days despite being parked between cool old American cars. does anyone have any advice as to whether this is a good chassis to start with or not? 1 Quote Link to comment
