510 Slip Yoke SR

So my slip yoke is going bad, it's a sr, but with the stock 510 driveshaft/yoke/flanges. I need a new one, or I know that the 240sx yoke fits the sr, but has anyone put one in their car, I know it'll need shortened, but other than that does it just bolt in?

 

Any advice on what's the best route to take?

Or if anyone knows something that's compatible, that I could but then plug and play with no mods?

Or even a part number, I've seen a few people get spicer ones, but they need a number or measurement, so perhaps if anyone's gotten one through them, help?

You need a whole driveshaft or just the slip yoke?

 

Most any driveline shop should be able to help you out. Even if you have to build a whole new shaft, it shouldn't be more than a few hundred bucks. Bring them your stuff and have them take a look.

 

It could be the bushing in the tailhousing going bad too. They are a wear part.
