sengduo
It's that lovely time of the year when birds are chirping, flowers blooming, and the dmv sends you that nice notice to get a smog check - aka reality check - my truck stinks. It's been running pretty rich since the idler pulley bearing on the smog pump fell off. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what size bearing to get? All the new parts don't fit it. I have a 79 Datsun 620 kc with L20B. I can't seem to find this info anywhere so any help would be appreciated. Datsuns don't show up too often in the bay area junk yards because they last too damn long in california's weather. Thanks Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
14815-B8000 is the part number for the idler pulley assy but it's expensive. Use this number to cross reference it for a bearing. Or press out the old one and get the numbers off of it? Welcome to Ratsun Quote Link to comment
sengduo
Thank you both. I ordered the 203-ff and will try that first. Otherwise I may just pay the $55 for the whole pully. There's an '81 datsun 4wd at my local junkyard but I assume since it's a different engine, it will have a different smog pump pulley? Or should they be standard between '79-81? Thanks again for the quick replies Quote Link to comment
