Bosshog
PO had wired in push button start, runs great. I hooked up original wiring, runs poorly and dies quickly. It is like it is starving for fuel. Any ideas of where to start? 1 Quote Link to comment
dr.feltersnatch
it was running good, then you changed something and now it runs like crap. so something you changed is causing your problem. 1 Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
The electrical system should not affect the fuel supply on your pickup(unless someone put an electrical fuel pump on). My guess is that you're losing spark. 1 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
Have you tried putting the wiring back to where it ran great? 2 Quote Link to comment
Bosshog
yes, if I put it back it runs fine. I just want it to start off the key like it originally did. It must have developed this problem then PO just wired around it. I thought it was the key switch but replaced it and same problem. 1 Quote Link to comment
Bosshog
Ok, never mind. Just went back and it started. Must have flooded it earlier. Thanks. 1 Quote Link to comment
