j_boy_619
5' 7" with miata seats here, can confirm they are as low as you can and still aren't low Quote Link to comment
Tomanyhobos
I'm around 5'7. I personally don't like the miata seats. So I most likely wont be going with those. I do understand that height is a big problem with these cars because of how small they are but i don't think I should have a problem barbecue i don't where hats all that much when i dive and I'm about as tall as I'm going to get, it will just piss off my taller friends. j_boy_619
really? they're not that bad. way better than stock if i do say so. Quote Link to comment
Tomanyhobos
I like the stock seats personally and want to kinda keep that look but have the option for 4 or 5 point seat belts. Quote Link to comment
PineClone
Incorrect.. how tall are you? I'm 5' 10" and have miata seats in mine, and they are about as low as I can get them and still have them slide. My baseball cap touches the ceiling every now and then. I'm 6'3"...stock seats that have been refurbished. I need to lean my seat back more than i would like in order to not have my head pushing up on the roof. And since i'm proud of my seats, i will show an oic again. 1 Quote Link to comment

How much did you get your seats refurbished for? and how bad were they before you got them refurbished? Quote Link to comment
dat521gatherer
Yes how much? I want to get mine redone but with stiffer springs and harder foam to firm them up. Quote Link to comment
PineClone
How much did you get your seats refurbished for? and how bad were they before you got them refurbished? $300 per seat. Here is a photo of them before they were redone. Quote Link to comment
Tomanyhobos
Oh your seats were in better condition than mine are. Quote Link to comment
Tomanyhobos
Do you know what they did to the head rest of yours because the place I was going to take my seats into said that they cant do any thing do them because they are molded but it looks like they did something to yours and I am just wondering what they did. PineClone
The person who did it said they were heat molded and could not be taken apart. She designed a custom pattern and covered the existing material with the new material. Quote Link to comment
Tomanyhobos
So they can be covered. Quote Link to comment
Tomanyhobos
So moving on to the back seats can they be restored because mine have good foam and good material around the foam but some of the mettle inside of the foam is rusted/broken. BUT the seats are molded so what can I do for back seats? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
The B210 stock back seat is a traditional non-molded type. Got pics of yours? It can be rebuilt by any upholstery shop. Quote Link to comment
Sastis
Pineclone do you still have the lady number who did your seat? Quote Link to comment
Tomanyhobos
No i don't have any pics of my seats at the moment. But as soon as I get some i will post them. Quote Link to comment
