sdsurf Posted September 26, 2008 Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 Here is what mine looks like: 6 terminals on the cab side going in with the ones on each end with 2 (top/bottom). 4 on the engine side in the middle. What is the stock wiring? Does anyone have the wiring diagram for a '70 521? I will take a pic tomorrow of the box and the cover. Mine appears original but I want to double check... dat521gatherer Posted September 27, 2008 Report Share Posted September 27, 2008 ok well i guess there is more than one. the only difference is the dual points system with the relays and the rest of the smog system. that olddatsuns link is for the j13 but the wiring is the same. here is the L wiring straight out of the owners manual. ppeters914 Posted September 30, 2008 Report Share Posted September 30, 2008 Once you start looking at various models in the same general time frame, you'll see that they're all wired pretty much the same, especially the fuse boxes. I got a 510 (L-series) harness and it almost matches wire-for-wire what's in my 411 (J13 originally). Quote Link to comment
