ITzDarcy
Hey all, I have just a few questions. 1# would it be better to use a copper head gasket 3.530 x .042". 2# can someone recommend the best suited spark plugs I should buy. 3# Which vacuum line goes to the bottom of the carby? 4# can I install the methanol injection jet before the carby? 5# Which line do I tap into for the fpr vacuum line, is it the turbo waste gate actuator line? Thanks heaps Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
1/ The stock gasket is enough for stock applications. Copper would be good for turbo or SC high compression high output engine. Make sure the head and block surfaces are very flat and smooth. Copper won't crush and fill any voids. 2/ NGK only. Nissan used them on the Z24. If turbo you will need a cooler range. 3/ There are three. Vacuum advance, EGR and one to the thermal vacuum control valve. 4/ Yes. It will remove heat by evaporation. 5/ I assume the intake manifold. Once vacuum is replaced by boost pressure the FPR will sense the boost and allow the fuel pressue to rais and stay ahead of the boost by about 3 PSI so gas gan force it's way into the carb.
