datzenmike
The short answer is no. You don't say what the '82 transmission is out of. The only transmission in '82 that will bolt up to your L16 is the 71B, 280zx (non-turbo) and the 810/Maxima five speeds. Both are 31.5" long while your F4W63 four speed is 26" long. Now the good news is that the 620 did actually get the longer 71B four speed in '74 and the five speed option in '77. If you can find the shorter front drive shaft from any '74 and up 620 it will save you having to shorten yours. All you need is the front half with the carrier bearing on the end. You should also get the 4 or 5 speed cross member so you can mount it in you '73. While you are looking for parts get the longer speedometer cable and the tunnel cover plate and dust boot for the shifter. Now if this mystery '82 transmission is in a 720 truck or S110 200sx, which I suspect is the case, this will be much more difficult to do. 1 Quote Link to comment
