datzenmike Posted May 20, 2014 Report Share Posted May 20, 2014 They are pretty close. The retainers are slightly different but physically the springs are close. The Z series valves are slightly longer so a bit heavier. I was thinking of L series on my Z24 but didn't bother. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted May 21, 2014 Report Share Posted May 21, 2014 Honestly I didn't measure the spring rates on either but they look very close. If at all possible run L springs on an L head, you can't go wrong. If you are out of options I think they will work in a pinch buy keep looking and swap them later. It's actually an easy job not requiring the head to be removed and needing only a length of rope. Quote Link to comment
