620 Disc Brakes compatibility

I have a set of disc brakes from a later model 620.  I have them for sale in the classifieds and I have been asked a question, can these be bolted right into an older 620 with the front drum brakes?  I have the upper and lower control arms with them.  Here is a picture:

I can get some more pictures if you need to see them from a different angle.  Will these bolt straight on?

No, not without some different parts, check the pinned brake section thread

They will physically bolt on, but the top control arm will be to short and negative camber huge. I landed up making my own upper control arms to be able to adjust the camber out.  Take a look at the frame they came off and you'll understand why.  The upper mount is different on the later 620s and early 720s.

The frame they came off of has been gone for about 16 years.  These have been in my friends storage shed for about that long.  It has been a few years since I have even seen an older Datsun here in Utah.

No they will not work on a drum brake frame without major modifications, and unless you know what your doing, don't go there.
