datzenmike Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 The most common problem is a blown HG with the Z24. Is it carb or tbi? If you can find a D-21 motor up until '88 it will fit as well. If yours is carbed you would have to put yours on it, as well as the distributor, but it will work. Link to comment

datzenmike Posted September 6, 2008 Report Share Posted September 6, 2008 Not a drop in. You would need to mount the ECU in the cab and run the EFI wire harness to the engine. It will bolt up to your tranny though. Link to comment
