twotoedbandit
My mechanical fuel pump is losing pressure and its time to upgrade to an electric one. While I'm upgrading I thought I would go ahead and run some -an line as the stock lines are also on their way out. Planning on running all the way to the tank. What size lines should I be running? I was thinking -6 but not too sure. I'm running a weber 32/36 on a stock a14 if that helps. Thanks guys! Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
What makes you think the pressure is dropping? Could it be time for a new fuel filter? Quote Link to comment
twotoedbandit
I can hear pressure leaking out when the engine is off. Replaced both soft lines to the pump and can still hear a hiss. Quote Link to comment
B210GX
1/2" ID should be good for that monster A14 LOL Seriously though.. Just replace that mechanical fuel pump and call it done... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
There is a fuel return line which has a small orifice in it. Once shut off the excess pressure bleeds back into the tank. If your B-210 does it they all do. Quote Link to comment
twotoedbandit
The fuel return is working fine, but I'm still getting a pressure leak from the pump. Anyways, it's getting swapped for an electric pump. So, I'm thinking -6 for the feed line and -4 for the return. Does that make sense? Quote Link to comment
