lilb34n Posted December 22, 2013 Report Share Posted December 22, 2013 So i tried turning on a 1967 Datsun 411. It wont start, you can just hear it trying to. I tried putting some Carb Cleaner in it and was able to make the engine turn on for a bit, because it would then shut off when i pressed on the gas or it would just turn off by itself. So i looked into the little glass that the carb has, which says level, which was all the way at the bottom. Do i have to rebuild the Carburetor? Or what can i do? It also seems to leak from the bottom. Thank You. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike Posted December 22, 2013 Report Share Posted December 22, 2013 Fuel delivery problem. Pull the outlet from the pump and direct into a pail. Crank the motor and you should see strong spurts of gas come out. If not find out why.. maybe a plugged line fro the tank? even more likely a plugged filter? Quote Link to comment
